It is what it is. Cheap sushi and hibachi. Shrimp hibachi has quantity tasty shrimp that even my parents like and the krabby tuna roll is a good treat that won’t give you food poisoning. Pensacola St. location is sticky. Literally the whole place.
We saw a cockroach crawling on the counter right next to the food being prepared. We told them and they did not seem to care. I love their food and will return to the Tennessee st. location but this place is off the list.
Mr. Roboto’s is one of those kinda places where you want to eat there, but on the drive over you see other options, that a much tastier, so you never make it there. I have made it there a few times. While the food is decent, it’s nothing over the top crazy good. Rice and meat. Add on one of their sauces and mix it all up and its pretty tasty. I tried the curry once.. yuck. Stick to hibachi. I can’t speak on the sushi but I’m guess its on par with Publix quality sushi. One big down fall for the Mahan location is they didn’t have a fryer on my prior two visits (not sure about now) so no side items, like egg roils, or fried dumpling. A must with any asian food.
