There is a dead stuffed lion in the entrance of this restaurant. I was shocked and appalled that Nefetari’s would have a dead threatened species and I left very upset without eating at the restaurant. I would greatly appreciate it if the owners would please consider removing the lion from the restaurant. I understand that it is the owners’ choice to do what they would like and that the decorations of the restaurant are Egyptian themed; however a dead animal is not an object or a decoration – and most definitely not a trophy to put on display. It also implies that it is okay to hunt and display threatened species. I feel it is incredibly disrespectful, especially at a restaurant that prides itself in serving many vegan options. I cannot support this restaurant unless the lion is removed.
