Great sandwiches and juices. Best organic and local selection in town. Deli is always ridiculously slow though so be prepared for a long wait.

I stopped in while in town to just walk around and scored an awesome piece of vegan carrot cake!

Great selection and tasty. I have only been once and it was great. I have always been a faithful Panera fan and I found this to be really similar, but probably with more of a selection or maybe more options for combinations. Great food though.

Delicious Organic Eats!. New Leaf has been a favorite of mine for years. Their hot bar and deli have really grown and offer some amazing food. The hot bar/salad bar with soup has a fantastic rotation with several selections every day, including themes like Spanish or Mediterranean foods. Plus they offer brunch and lunch/dinner for only $8 a pound (the weight of your meal is measured, so you can mix and match foods at your leisure). Their deli also has fantastic selections, such as quiches, tarts, pies, cakes, wraps, and pastries, plus so much more. Their vegan cranberry walnut cookie is my favorite – and it’s huge! It’s great knowing I can get a delicious meal made with local organic ingredients to nourish myself and support our local farmers. I highly recommend trying their prepared foods and checking out their full grocery selections for foods you can use at home. They’ve always been a great place to shop for me and I highly recommend them!

The buffet can be good and it has a homestyle touch but it’s sooooo expensive. It’s not hard to make a $15 lunch plate and not even realize it.

Buffet – hit and miss. I always gravitate toward the pay-by-the-pound buffet with mixed results. There is plenty of vegetarian/vegan fare, and it’s mostly very good. This last trip, I loaded up my plate with Great Northern Beans, brown rice, tofu and seitan jambalaya, and baked curried tofu. The Great Northern Beans were perfectly prepared, and it was all I could do to not go back for a second helping. The tofu and seitan jambalaya was just spicy enough to satisfy my taste buds without setting my mouth entirely ablaze. Unfortunately, though, the brown rice was not properly cooked and had spots in it that were entirely uncooked. While I usually love curried tofu, prepared any way, it was reduced to a rubbery consistency and was entirely inedible to me. Overall, though, I had a pleasant meal experience that filled me up for about $5 – not a bad deal.
