This place is unbelievably bad.I came here to eat today. Our family came in to eat right when they opened– at 10:45. There was just one other table when we arrived. After our meal, we walked across the street to visit the Tally Science Fair. We came back to our car to find that it had been towed! I walked inside to talk to someone and they said they were towing people who weren’t at their establishment. We were just there 3 hours prior! They said they were towing because their customers couldn’t find any parking even though 2 of their lots were completely empty. Then, they proceeded to tell me that if I had told them I was going to go across the street, they would have given me a ticket on my car. There were five tables inside the restaurant. They need to face facts…They’re not losing business because their customers couldn’t park. They lose business because they’re rude, negligent and care about the quick buck. PS–at 10:45, their food was old and mushy. It’s filthy inside. If you enjoy room temperature food out of a can, dirty utensils with plates and semi-wiped down tables, this place is just for you. Otherwise, save your money and DONT EAT HERE!I wish that 0 stars was an option because even that would be polite.

However I went through at least 15 plates before I found one that wasn’t decorated with excess food leftover from a poor wash. I’m not the kind of person to exaggerate things or say things that aren’t true. I have nothing to gain by saying this. Just wanted there to be a fair warning out there. I only ate there because of my intense craving for some good soul food. Which they do know how to prepare.
Comfort food, pure and simple. I eat out for a variety of reasons. When I want comfort and kindness, I go to Ole Times Country Buffet. This is not health food, and it is not high cuisine. It is simple, country cooking, plenty of it, and fairly priced. The servers will keep your drink replenished, and many of them will dote on you like you were family.
Try the catfish!. Three of us went hungry and we all left stuffed. Fried catfish was great. Wished for a bit more on the salad bar. Hoe cakes were cold and tough. Service was attentive. Restaurant was clean as were restrooms. We’ll all be back.
Offers a buffet, delivers a buffet. I went to this buffet, because I love buffet’s and southern food on a buffet is even better. I had quite a nice dinner. Not as many selections as Golden corrale but I liked it better. Chicken was really good. The other items I had were buffet quality and that’s what I expected. If I expected 5 star quality food I’d have gone to Shula’s or somewhere else. I know buffet’s and this one’s got it down right. I did not venture into the bathroom so cannot comment on that. My waitress was good and attentive. They offered a buffet and they delivered it.
Low quality. Unhealthy environment.
Just plain nasty. Rude staff. Filthy floors.
