I would still go for the Momo’s across the street, but this is a solid choice for fancier pizza. I tried the Sherwood and the toppings, cheese, and crust were are all flavorful and different from what you would find anywhere else, but the oily pesto sauce overwhelmed everything in flavor and dripping oil. Prepare to eat with a fork and knife if you get the pesto sauce. Next time I would definitely try a red sauce. I am hesitant to commit to Northside Pies and have my heart broken because they are in a cursed location where multiple restaurants have gone out of business in the past few years.
