This place is a joke…. I’ve ordered here on and off over the last 3 years. One day, out of the blue, i get a free promotional offer for a free medium pizza. It was from papajohns.com and stated that i had to place the order online. So, naturally, i log online to place the order. The online system doesn’t allow me to add toppings b/c it is a promotional item so i call the store and they tell me i have to call the online customer service. I call the customer service and the line is dead. So, i increase the tip amount to cover what the additional topings would cost and then figure i’ll call the store to let them know. The manager is an absolute moron. He has not idea how to operate a business. He tells me that even though i added the amount to the tip he can’t add some tomatoes and pepperoni to the pizza because it will throw off his inventory and that i’d have to call the online service number. Of course, the number is still dead. So i call him back and he already has the pie in the oven not the way i want it and doesn’t care if i take it or not (which to me, seems would throw off his inventory numbers). I waste 20 minutes talking to this moron and no matter how much i paid the delivery driver in cash or paid him over the phone with a credit card he couldn’t do it because of his inventory. The pizza came and it was like cardboard. Don’t order from this location.

Not a super huge fan of Papa John’s. More often than not, the pizza’s I’ve eaten had greasy crusts, greasy toppings and left me wishing i had not partaken. Last night I order The Works from the Tennessee Street location and was pleasantly surprised. The crust was perfect- dry on the outside and gooey on the inside. The toppings were fresh, luscious and plentiful. Although I still prefer Mellow Mushroom or even Pizza Hut, I wasn’t left wanting after last nights try. The only con would be the saltiness- I wanted to drink a ton of water later on.
