I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten ready to review a place only to notice that others have given it a rating it didn’t deserve and now, Prime Time is on that list. I’ve been coming here since it opened, replacing the old Buffalo Wild Wings on Tennessee which was a Tallahassee landmark. Prime Time is the only true upscale sports bar in town. One walk through the doors and you’ll see why. The decor and set up are somewhat modern but not over the top. There are TVs EVERYWHERE. They’ve even added an outside deck which is perfect for every day lunches or Sunday brunches. The menu is eclectic and the food seems to be prepared with a very high standard. What I don’t like are the beer pitcher prices and the beer pitchers themselves. Unless you’re used to them, you WILL spill beer…..and WHO wants to watch cold beer landing on the table instead of in the frosted glass??!!! Despite this vexation, I always have a great and satisfying time here. Whether you want a casual time, a romantic occasion or a sports fueled outing, Prime Time has the versatility to meet your needs.
Who doesn’t love Prime Time? Basic people, that’s who. The food is delicious and inspired, the frost top bar is effective and enjoyabke, the service is friendly and prompt. If you are in tally, you do yourself a diservice if you don’t try it.
