Authentic Filipino food. I am full Filipino and the dishes they serve at Real Sarap are exactly how my parents make it. Inexpensive and very generous in portioning – Ansel Ponce Diama
Ordered the Combo Real with steamed rice for $8.99. The pork BBQ came on a skewer and while cold was nonetheless tasty. The spring roll was well seasoned and quite good. I chose the pork Adobo which was delicious using the accompanying sauce over my steamed rice. (My friend chose the chicken Adobo which was a mistake as her portion was primarily bones and skin. She also opted for the pansit which was great.) The single Siomai dumpling was well seasoned and quite delicious. At $2.19 the sweet tea was good with free refills available. All in all the meal was quite good if somewhat pricey. I’ll definitely go back and try the pork Adobo as an entre’. Nice first- time meal.
Good stuff, I have been looking for Filipino food in this city for a while because I come from a place with a lot of it. The food was very good but a bit pricey. I got a sampler plate and the steamed dumpling was unreal, I’d get a whole plate of that if I go back. Also the pork adobo is killer. Really like the ambiance of the place, it has this funky, bright green paint that makes it seem hip but cozy at the same time
