Not as good as Tally Thai & Sushi. Asked for ‘Thai hot’ Pad Ke Mao – my go to Thai dish – and it really had no heat at all. I had to ask for pepper sauce. The Tom Yum soup was also ordered hot and also had no heat. Also, the sweet potato roll was awful. It had nothing in it- just a tiny paper thin sliver of sweet potato and some cold soggy tempura batter that wasn’t fried all the way- I saw flour. The sweet potato roll at Sakura is fantastic. Our service wasn’t very good either but I think it was just our server- an Asian guy that I didn’t recognize from Tally. Probably won’t go again, atleast not for a while. I know they’re new so maybe they just need to work out the kinks. I hope Tally doesn’t close! I love the divey atmosphere there.
