I like it. Friendly service, good food. The coffee wasn’t that great, but the chicken biscuit was nice, with fried chicken tenders. A nice breakfast for a decent price. I would try it again.
Dissappointed. Just to much of a hurry. First the coffee comes full to the top of the cup with no room for cream or sugar. No spoons to stir the coffee. Then way to fast the food is on the table. Toast that was not toasted cold deep fried potatoes, cold pancakes. I asked for crispy bacon and got bacon that was already cooked and not crispy and cold to boot. Quality is what makes a successful business not how fast you can put out cold food that is not prepared the way it was asked for.
Love the pop’s sauce. Best place to eat, food is great! Owner & staff were wonderful , very nice , and friendly . Pop’s sauce is the best. I’m from Texas and will definitely go back because of their generosity, food and pop’s sauce .

We Loved the Food. July 15, we just saw the sign going west on 10 near FL panhandle. Got off interstate and found Rubys diner. Great food, daily specials. Get the homemade hot peach cobbler. Friendly efficient staff. Ruby is on site too.
Tried it on a Friday for lunch. Catfish special was very good. Light breading and just the right amount of salt on the catfish filets. Very tasty. Sides were good particularly the carrot souffl they had that day. Enjoyed the butterfinger cake as well. The service was excellent. I appreciated that they wipe the utensils after they come out of the dishwasher. Bright and shiny. This is a good place for a good meal.
Not Impressed. Called ahead for take out. Person who answered the phone actually hung up on me without getting my name, asking if my order was complete or letting me know how long it would be. I had to call back, got no apology just him repeating my order. When I got the chance to ask the time I was told 10 minutes. I was 15 minutes away and had $300 worth of cold foods/meats in my car. When I got there I waited 5 minutes and the same kid says it will be 2 more minutes. I told him about the groceries and if it wasn’t literally gonna be 2 minutes to tell me so I could sit in the car w/the air on until my order was ready. 15 minutes later I am leaving. Total time from my call was 30 minutes when told 10. The food was decent, the portions small, and the service not so great. Also it was so packed with people it seems like the fire marshal should pay a visit.
