As good as sushi gets in Tallahassee. After trying many of the sushi spots in Tallahassee I am sticking with Sakura – the first one I ever tried. Consistent every time. Reasonable prices. Beautiful, artful presentations. The sweet potato roll is amazing!
This restaurant has pretty expensive sushi. The quality of the food was below my expectations. The service was good but this place isn’t my first choice for sushi!
Best sushi in town, hands down. The monthly special rolls are always to die for, the service is phenomenal, and it’s inexpensive. You can’t go wrong!
Disappointed. I had heard good things previously about this place so my boyfriend and I decided to try it out last night. The service was pleasant and our waitress was very nice but the food was just bad. We ordered the hibachi steak and chicken tempura. Some pieces of the steak were so chewy we had to spit them out. The chicken tempura was extremely bland and basically inedible. The rice was nothing special. The pork dumpling appetizer was the only food we enjoyed and finished. The food did not live up to the expensive price of our mostly uneaten meals. I don’t plan on returning and will just spend the same amount of money at a higher end restaurant.
Great place. The tuna dumpling they make is amazing, not sure if anyone else in Tallahassee makes dumplings out of the tuna like this, must try!
Never a wait. Always has pleasant service and great food! One of my favorites in Tallahassee when I am pushed for time!
