This review is purely based on lunch buffet-not ordeing off if the menu. Decent quality on the lunch buffet but not a very big selection of different dishes. After trying all the different Indian lunch buffets I prefer Mayuri the most.

Enjoyed our visit here immensely. First Indian food experience in Tallahassee that we’ve all been truly pleased with. The service was friendly and helpful, the restaurant was clean and full of tantalising aromas, and the food was delightful. An entree with rice and an order of naan is enough for two people. The vegetarian options were plenty.

My first trip to Samrat Indian Restaurant and it very tasty. I had the Cheese Naan and the Lamb Sagwala, spicy level medium.

Fantastic Indian cuisine! Love their chicken tikka masala and the lunch buffet is awesome. Our friend whose family is from India has verified its authenticity. Ha!

Coconut Soup was two dimensional. The Lamb Jalfrezi was made with frozen mixed vegetables; no joke, frozen mixed vegetables. The Naan was not fluffy. The Chicken Tikka Masala was ok, but I’ve had better before. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Garlic naan was excellent! Vegetable korma was good (frozen veggies). Disappointed with the butter chicken sauce to chicken ratio. The butter chicken was 70% sauce but the sauce was good and we ate just the sauce alone with the extra rice. Would give it another chance, but expensive for two dishes and some bread ($40).

Seems to have the best buffet of Indian food in Tallahassee. Good food at a good price.
