2 years ago when I lived here this was a go-to place but since returning this month I’ve given them two separate chances to deliver the Thai food I fondly remember and they have failed. Their flavor profiles for both the Beef Pad Thai and the Chicken Green Curry were off (like the ingredients or spice ratios were wrong) and lacked depth of flavor (they were super bland). They were also inconsistent in their spice ratios. I ordered both dishes Thai Hot and received a Pad Thai completely lacking heat and a Green Curry so hot my husband (who loves heat) couldn’t eat the dish, I only ate it so that we wouldn’t waste the money. Which brings me to the third problem, the prices compared to the portions. The curry was take-out (in a normal Qt soup container) and it was only like 2/3 full and cost $15!!!

I don’t think that a lot of FSU students know about this hidden gem. I really enjoyed eating the sushi and pad thai. The food was bursted with flavor, and the service was pretty good. I will definitely be back!

Least liked Thai restaurant. I ordered fried dumplings that ended up coming out cold. Service was polite though. They gave me the wrong dish, and it wasn’t spicy at all like ordered. Much better food and better environment at Tally Thai in my opinion.

Love the Tom Yum Soup!. Their Tom Yum soup is my favorite. We have also tried a few of their sushi rolls, pad thai, calamari, and red curry. The red curry was the best. It had a good flavor and the coconut milk tops it all off. I would definitely recommend their calamari while dining in as apposed to take-out. You get the crispy crunchiness of the calamari when it comes right out, but taking it togo softens it up. We didn’t quite enjoy their sushi rolls only because it had too much rice. I have noticed that a lot of sushi restaurants in tallahassee load their rolls which rice, which takes away from the flavor of whats inside. Their Pad Thai is alright but the flavor that is normally associated with it wasn’t quite there. I would recommend their Tom Yum Soup, Calamari and definitely their red curry!

There are better places. There are several of my favorite things that go with my sushi. The choices were very limited. Even the salad only had one dressing. This will not be my first choice, but the sushi was decent.

Good atmosphere. Bad fusion-y food. Given it 3 tries. Won’t go back. Definitely would not recommend this place for sushi. Dry, grocery store quality sushi. Not authentic at all. Not sure why people like it – I guess its the atmosphere. Sakura – down the road is much better for sushi but lacks in atmosphere. Also, the one ‘Thai’ noodle dish I tried months ago – Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) was made with Udon noodles! Wtf?!? If you’re interested in Food and not just atmosphere, don’t go here.

Good, but slow.. Very good food the crab rangoons are a must try. However we were there about 2.5 hours.. we both ordered sushi and were told about 45 mins after ordering that the sushi bar was backed up with orders. Maybe if we had ordered something other than sushi it wouldn’t have taken so long, but either way it was a long hungry wait.
