I have never been disappointed with Smallcakes, not sure why there are so many negative experiences but maybe they have improved? I have tried the peanut butter, Bananas Foster, Red Velvet and a couple others, and they were all delicious. I do think that $3.50 for a cupcake is too expensive but I don’t buy them often. I think this is a good chain cupcakery, and worth trying.

Better than the rest in Tally. Better quality and quantity than the other places. Haven’t had a bad one yet!!!!
So-so. Red velvet and carmel were dry, not authentic and lacked flavor.Strawberry and the chocolate cupcakes with chocalate icing with white stripe was moister.
The cupcake is on the moister side but lacks flavor. The yellow cake reminds me of a boxed mix. The icing was awful. The fudge was thick and sticky, very fake tasting. The chocolate buttercream wasn’t chocolatly at all. Store was cute. The presentation was nice but cupcakes are a no go.
The cupcakes were amazing! Perfect cake consistency and perfect icing. We stopped here after eating at Mikey’s. Place is clean and nicely decorated. We will be back. These cupcakes are a real treat.
Sweet and Satisifying. Checked them out yesterday. They are pricey for a cupcake, but they’re worth it. The cupcakes are large with plenty of icing. There are many options to satisfy your tastebuds.For a lighter option I recommend the Fat Elvis if they have it featured. For chocolate, go with the Caramel Crunch if they have that too.
