A good variety of toppings and burger choices here. I tried the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, which was delicious although I agree it needed more barbecue sauce. The Smash fries were tasty, although very oily, I guess the olive oil is added on after they are fried. The onion stack was alsocrispy and well seasoned. I did not think the burgers were dry or bland, they were cooked nicely. Our friends got service that they said was a bit rude so I take that into consideration too. The burgers seemed a bit smaller than competition, but tasted better than Five Guys. I would try it again, the price is similar to competitors but there is a better variety and quality of burgers here.

Tried smashburger today, have to say it was pretty darn good, definitely one of the better burger chains. The chipotle bun was very good. I will be back. Will update then….chow!

So I’ve had SmashBurger 3 times now and 2 of the 3 were pretty positive. The first visit was opening week and the blue burger was underwhelming. Added a fry tossed in a special rosemary olive oil… no taste of either ingredient (up charge). Of the 3 burgers I have had 2 were pretty greasy to say the least. The fry’s they offer are so thin, its hard to actually dip in a catchup without breaking in half. It’s like a McDonald’s fry – cut into 4. To thin for my liking. With all the burger joints already here and new ones popping up pretty frequently, there are better alternatives. 5 Guys is still the king of the basic cheeseburger and fries!

As we were eating our burgers, we actually talked about how we could make the same thing at home. The staff was super nice but the price and food just don’t go together. Something is missing here.

DRY DRY DRYReminds me why I didn’t like burgers as a child!Great potential — nice flavorings and house burger recipes, but once they’re smashed, I suspect the cook’s not paying enough attention. Thin burgers take little cook-time (gee, that would speed up delivery, right?). After a LONG wait, we rec’d dry, GRAY burgers. Couldn’t taste the marvelous ingredients.Family of 5 ordered 3 burgers, 1 chicken sandwich and 1 salad. ALL 3 burgers were gray in color and dry-tasting, yet oily. Chicken ALSO dry, and it was fried. NICE spinach salad, which included dried cranberries. All fresh and delicious ingredients — except the cranberries were stuck together in large chunks — ugh.Wait a few months, then try it. They’re still figuring it out.

They have good food, but when it comes to burgers im looking for innovation. Voodoo Dog, Tomahawk, Tucker Dukes. Those are the real burger joints

Good food, but too loud!. Great bacon cheddar burger and tasty milkshakes. Much like other places, there are too many hard surfaces, so crowd noise becomes overwhelming. Jeez, a couple hundred dollars for sound-deadening would be most appreciated.
