The worst Sashimi I have ever had the displeasure of eating. Ordered Tuna, Salmon and Yellow Tale Sashimi to go. As well as Spicy Tuna roll. Paper thin slices of Sashimi. Tasted like it was frozen … no flavor. The rolls were bland. Spent $50 and my cats even turned away when I offered the Sashimi . To be fair … when I called to speak with the manager … he offered a rain check? We were excited to support this restaurant and disappointed with the outcome.
Sushi spring is a pretty good AYCE restaurant. Instead of having it setup like a standard buffet, they bring out the food for you. I thought the food was good but definitely not anything special. I liked that their portions were small for the sushi / sashimi so that I could try different things. Beware, however, the hibachi and udon come in larger portions and if you have leftovers, you can be charged for it!To get your money’s worth (approx $25 per person), you should eat a ton of the sashimi! They cut the sashimi super thing and small so order up when you do!Definitely give it a try :). My person thought it was really good, but I’m a bit snobbier about Asian foods, so I thought it was just good.
Waste of $19.99. You should ask yourself, do you want all you can eat of sub-par sushi, where you leave disappointed and overly full, or do you want to spend the same for quality sushi and portion control. I sure wish I had asked myself this question, because I would have preferred the latter. HOWEVER, if you are a sushi novice and dont know what you like yet, this is an opportunity to try many things, one piece at a time, at one price to determine your preferencesId would suggest going at lunch time though when its $12.99 instead.
Delicious! Very fresh sushi, flavorful hot dishes, clean restaurant. Huge menu with a plethora of options. Most tender eel sushi I’ve ever had! A hidden gem in Tallahassee.
