Curious and Curiouser. When I first walked up the steps, I wasn’t sure if I was entering a restaurant or not, but quickly found the dining area to the left. It’s adorable inside with real umbrellas to sit under at the tables for a true outdoors-inside feeling. The sweet ladies at the first table take your order, and then you proceed to a window peering into the commercial kitchen. The food is ready-to-go in less than a minute, and it only cost me a nickel’s worth of time in the parking meter outside to be in and out and on my way! I got the asian chicken salad, which was delicious with cabbage, water chesnuts, chicken, peanuts, carrots, and a light tangy sweet vinaigrette. I believe there is a secret ingredient on the crispy ramen noodles, maybe some chinese five spice or something delicious like that! So great, I’m definitely coming back!

Heavenly. Had my first lunch there yesterday and I’m in love! Besides being an oasis of calm downtown, the food was the best of its kind I’ve ever had. The potato salad – best! Donno what’s in it but it is a perfect blend and made me wish I’d only taken half the sandwich so that I could finish it! BUT then I’d have missed the other half of my roast beef au jus and that would have been a shame. This might be my new favorite place for lunch. AND the folks working there are wonderful. What’s not to like!!!
