Great foodtruck!. The food is always delicious and fast too! Not your mommas grilled cheese is my favorite and I am generally not a grilled cheese eater. The owners are sweethearts and very accommodating!

Very Pleased. Street Chefs came out to a Teacher Appreciation event at W. T. Moore. Rebecca, the owner, was easy to work with, and once she received basic information regarding logistics from us, she took care of all the little details. The teachers and staff raved about the good food, friendly staff, and excellent service. It was a fun way to honor the school staff AND support a fantastic local business. I would definitely suggest inviting this food truck to your next event!

Finally tried it out. I always see this truck and I’m not sure why I never tried it until now but I’m glad I did. I had a super Ritz, which is a pork/beef burger with pesto, spinach, tomato, bacon, and cheese. I got it without the spinach. I thought the portion size was a little small for the price, but it was extremely tasty, especially the pesto. It gave it that perfect kick of flavor.

Loved it. I tried Street Chefs for the first time at Food Truck Thursday this week. I like what I see. The menu is appealing. The idea of shepherd’s pie wrapped up is good enough, but then they added mac and cheese and bacon. Be still my beating heart. The food was good. The company was better. Rebecca came out and spoke with me for a while, chef to chef. She has some very good ideas for future additions to the menu, and I’ll be keeping a very watchful eye out for many of them.

Had the hippie sandwich two different times. Probably wont go for a third. The ‘burgers’ blackbean and rice are pretty bland. The great hope for making an average veggie sandwich into something great is their mango slaw. The first sandwich I had was First Friday and it was getting close to 8 PM The sandwich was bland and could be countered with the tasty slaw. The serving of law was so minuscule as to provide the hint of goodness without the real thing. The second time was at Food Truck Thursday over on Tharpe Street. This tine when I ordered, I asked for more slaw. I did get plenty of fresh spinach leaves, but the slaw made only the briefest appearance on each of the sandwich halves. I understand that the slaw could make the sandwich soggy, but there is a middle ground. Maybe serve it on the side for addition while one is eating the sandwich?

I finally got around to tryin the grilled cheese myself a week or two ago. Let’s just say I was less than wowed. The sandwich is ok or fair at best. It was far from being special on any level which I found sad since everyone raves about it. I had like 3 pieces o basil that I couldn’t taste and soggy bacon. I was just very disappointed. I’ve also had the Mac and cheese which was generic at best. I hate paying for food that I can make at home with little effort. Get inspired and cook from the heart. The people will come.

Serious Yuck!. I am a big fan of mobile food trucks. Love the idea and the food is usually fabulous. Not so with this place. I stopped at the truck this past Friday night at the Railroad Square gathering after first stopping at the place they SAID that they would be which was on the other side of town (MLK & Tharpe). The description of the food I ordered sounded fabulous so I was pretty excited about it. Imagine my surprise when it ended up being a tiny crumbly burger with one slice of tomato and a basil leaf on two slices of wheat bread (store bought) – for $6!! THIS IS GOURMET? The Mac N’ Cheese was a tad bit better but the tiny serving cost $3. A total rip off. I had to stop and get something else to eat afterwards. A HUGE disapointment and will never, ever stop by this truck or recommend it to anyone. Don’t waste your time or money.
