I have been eating sushi for awhile and Sushi Tokyo has the best sushi in Tally! Probably one of the best sushi I’ve ever had in a long time. Always fresh fish and consistently providing delicious food. Their Crunch Shrimp roll is off the chain! I loved their Spicy Tuna roll as well. Very attentive staff and nice atmosphere.
Great Place. I passed by this place several times but never went in due to the mixed reviews I’ve readied online. These reviews must be lies cause this place has some of the best sushi i have had in a long time in Tallahassee. Good price for the amount of food you get. The Shrimp Tempura and Vegetable rolls were delicious. The services was great and looked to be family owned. They even made items for me not on the meal. Definitely will go again.

Amazing. The bad reviews are obviously rival sushi places. I got sushi takeout, the spicy tuna in the spicy tuna roll was chopped up, not just a tuna roll with spicy mayo that other sushi places claim is spicy tuna. The fish was very fresh, PRICES WERE CHEAP, the place was clean, the people were very nice, I will defiantly go back.
Haters ganna hate!. This is a great sushi place. The staff are wonderful. The negitive reviews are most likely other restraunts trying to make them look bad. Fantastic and fairly priced. Just went to Sushi Tokyo tonight with some friends. Not only was the atmosphere nice, the family who owns it is sweet as can be. We were given free edamame with just the right amount of salt to start. I saw a previous review mention cheap plastic cups; this was not the case when we went. They were plastic, but not solo cups. They were nicer than cups you’d get at Chilis or Friday’s, with pretty colored designs in them. Food was brought out quickly, but not alarmingly so. Each of us got a different roll, and I found all three delicious (not a common thing for me; I’m picky). The price for my total meal was $10, plus tax. Only three dollars more than the sushi at Publix, and far, far better in quality. Not only was this the best sushi I’ve had in Tallahassee, it’s the best sushi I’ve had in years. Period. Check them out! 🙂
Simply great. I don’t know where the negative reviews are coming from but my boyfriend and I eat here about once a month and are never disappointed by the food, service, or price. The price is perfectly typical of sushi/Japanese cuisine. We even showed up about 8 minutes before they closed the other night and they were welcoming, happy and patient. The family is great and always kind. This place is a gem and we eat a lot of Asian cuisine so maybe those bad reviewers aren’t sure what they should expect from a good sushi establishment.. .just sayin.
