I go here plainly out of convenience. This dining hall is pretty typical for an on-campus buffet-style establishment, but it is wholly a waste of money in my mind. Its specialties include lots of fried food, pizza that looks like it could be served in a bowling alley, rubbery pasta, solidified humus, sugary salad dressings, a broken ice cream machine, watery coffee, and mysterious looking meat.If your poor soul finds yourself starving with a meal plan on FSUs campus these are the items I recommend: anything from the sandwich, soups if they look normal, cookies if they’re fresh out of the oven, the nacho bar (only available some Saturdays), tofu and fried rice (only available some weekdays at lunch), and fresh fruit. The workers here are generally nice but I can sense their pain in working such a tedious, unrewarding job. The management is comprised of a few middle-aged white men who do not eat at the dining hall from what I can gather. They can be rather receptive to complaining, so if you have a specific complaint or request they will at least try to help you. Unfortunately, too many of my complaints are too general (i.e. the food is gross) to be fixed by a single request. If you are not yet deterred from eating here, I suggest trying things in moderation so you know if it hurts your stomach before you eat a lot of anything. Also, have more faith in Suwannee if you see a lot of tour groups around campus, if its parents weekend, or if its a game day. They take prospective FSU students here on tours because the building looks like Hogwarts. The presence of persnickety mothers elevates the standard of food. Proceed with caution.

Beautiful since they remodeled, and really cheap to eat here. You should come at least once just to see the place, it looks Like Hogwarts. Lots of buffet selections and the food is pretty good too. An FSU tradition. just be aware you have to put up with a LOT of students.

Its cafetria food. It’s cafeteria food. you have to know how to navigate the menu and food stations. often you’ll have to go to several stations to find the contents of your meal. it suffers the same problem all resturants suffer and that is the level of care of the staff and the amount of time something goes from out of the oven to cold. have to be smarter than temp fluctuations. granted some foods lack a bit in flavor and thats what condiments are for and its true of the finest snooty places as well. pick things that can’t be cocked up like dry cereal and milk or a simple salad thats easy to see the level of veggie freshness. the menu changes day to day so how someone says all the food sucks is a bit of an exaggeration. there are station that are cook to order so don’t write this off because one person can’t take in the entire semester menu contents before writing a review.

Suwannee. This is literally one of the worst eating establishments I have ever had the displeasure of eating in. Sub par quality food and hardly any variation from day to day.
