Great to have a vegan option in town! Not only are they all vegan but local/regional & organic when possible. Just avoid anything with the fake cheese! ๐Ÿ˜‰ The falafel and buffalo tofu sandwiches are standouts! Also good are the Black bean burger and tempeh Reuben-ok, this has a little fake cheese but the house made sauerkraut balances it out. Also great french fries! Also have great coffee and weekend brunch specials!

Vegan, local, casual, and delicious! I love the Sweet Pea Cafe. I’ve been there several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and the menu is all vegan! Great place to try if you haven’t!

delicious, my favorite is the vegan poutine! Im from Montreal and i love this vegan twist, it tastes awesome. The workers can be rude…It depends what crowd i come in with, which is lame. would come more often if i had more friendly experiences there.

Great. Best biscuits and gravy in town. Best poutine. I haven’t been going as much as I used to, but it’s definitely one of the best lunch spots in town.

Best Restaurants in Tallahassee. —-Sweet Pea Cafe is a cute vegan/vegetarian cafe tucked away on W Tharpe Street in Tallahassee. The warm and relaxing atmosphere is very inviting and you won’t hesitate to return again and again. The two owners of the establishment are culinary chefs and are driven by the love of quality, flavor and fine ingredients derived from local farms. The result is delicious food that is good for the mind, body and soul! (You can’t say that about food fast chains!) Moderately and fairly priced, the menu items offer a modern twist to some typical Vegetarian/ vegetarian fare. The drink selection is not limited, which is especially nice for a smaller establishment. The lemonade was perfect not at all overly sweet. Let’s talk about my experience: I ordered a falafel sandwich, which is my favorite. Usually when I get it in any restaurant it is high in sodium, but this one was not. I also ordered the buffalo fried tofu, which I found to be quite tasty as well! While waiting for my order I bought a chocolate cookie. I took one bite and was so shocked that a piece of the cookie fell on the floor. If I could, I would have picked it up and eaten it straight from the floor it was that good! Well in conclusion I am not sure who baked this cookie but who ever did makes the deserts makes them as good as (christina Tossi) one of the most creative pastry chefs of all time, and if you dont believe me go and try the deserts and the food. This restaurant is hip, creative, delicious, favorable, cozy and warm and I highly recommend it! I plan to make this one of my regular go to establishments I look forward to trying the whole menu! If you want great food with a good experience: shop & eat local! The big chains are unable to offer the same hometown experience plus when you buy local the value of your home increases. Keep it local! Napoleon Bernhardt
