Great for studying and eating anytime of day or night. Sweet Shop has changed many times over the years, but right now is the best it has been in a very long time. The owner has a really good atmosphere for students and serves delicious food for every meal. My favorites are the Gyro with extra Tsaziki Sauce and also the Egg and Cheese Croissant.Highly recommend this place for students!!! great location too.
I have never had a good experience in the Sweet Shop. The employees are rude if you don’t buy anything. I usually go with friends and I can’t afford $4-$5 a drink. It’s not a welcoming atmosphere. Once I asked for hot water for my own tea bag and they said no. Their passion is obviously only to make money. My boyfriend also came in once with a taco and they asked him to leave because no outside food allowed, which is honestly ridiculous to me because it’s a primarily beverage place. The Sweet Shop has so much potential but with high prices, rude employees, and not the most comfortable environment, I don’t like to go there. At least Starbucks has free water.
Cozy atmosphere, definitely a good place to meet with friends or study (there are outlets everywhere!). I would recommend the lattes, especially the Naughty Nelly! It has chai and espresso, so delicious. I love the snow cones as well, lots of flavors.
