Great food, Great People. There was a glitch with their online ordering that charged my card but my order never went thru to their system. The Owner/Manager could not have been a nicer, more generous person in fixing my problem. He gave me my entire meal for free and also included an extra cup of Guac and a fountain drink for my inconvenience. Living in Tallahassee, I have grown accustomed to terrible customer service but Tacospeak and it’s owner gave me hope for better things in Tally. If every restaurant operated the way Tacospeak does, the world would be a better place. Also, the food is AMAZING. The tacos are delicious and the guac and cheese dip are out of this world. Tallahassee needs more places like Tacospeak!!

I’ve only had two tacos from there so I can only rate and review them on my limited experience but the two tacos I had were good although I liked one more than the other. I preferred the CBLT to the Ai Papi because I like my tacos with some type of sauce (Salsa, sour cream, etc) and the CBLT came with a chipotle ranch while the Ai Papi didn’t have one. If that means nothing to you than you won’t have that issue. I do look forward to trying their other offerings. I also like the fact that they stay open till midnight.

Tacospeak is an interesting experiment in complex simplicity. The menu is deceptively limited, offering only 9 types of tacos. However, upon closer inspection, you will notice that each taco has a unique meat options. That said, all the tacos are delicious, and the a la carte ordering makes it easy for your to get exactly what your mood desires. I personally recommend the CBLT!Their soda offering is where some folks are divided. I love the Organic Maine Root Sodas. Each of the flavors are fantastic, but not everyone is willing to stray away from the traditional coke/pepsi options.

The newest contender in the Tallahassee Taco Triangle by FSU. I was very pleased with the quality and freshness of the ingredients here. The chips are great, very hot and crispy, served fresh unlike competitors who may serve warmed-up chips. The guac was also great, tasted fresh unlike the processed glop some places serve. I disagree that the prices are too high, since you pay about the same price at Moe’s for a burrito with chips and drink. The price of two tacos here is comparable to the price of one burrito at Moe’s. I do agree that the tacos are not very spicy, so if you are looking for heat you will need to add hot sauce or something. If you like savory and sweet, the Mexican Cola Pork tacos are good, I like the pineapple salsa on them. Tacospeak also delivers with no minimum order amount, and our cashier also mentioned that you can request for ingredients like beans to be added to your taco, so they are open to special requests. Overall, I would go here first based on service and food quality.

Since moving back here from Texas, I crave nothing more than a well executed taco, which seems easy enough, but in reality is hard to find outside of Mexico and Texas. I will say Tacospeak is not your traditional taqueria, nor do they claim to be; however, they do have the spirit with their fresh ingredients and good flavor combinations. I found this place to be very reminiscent of the Torchy’s Tacos regional chain in Texas with their inventive and fusion-esk style tacos, which are meant to be excellent flavor affinities in the food vehicle of the tortilla. Tacospeak succeeds at this and I look forward to eating here again.

Stopped in to try this place since it is walking distance from my work. The place was VERY clean. The food is made fresh to order and the portions are large. I had the Northshore and my wife had the Hipster. We also got Salsa and Chips. The food was fresh and delicious, our order was correct, the staff was friendly and it was relatively inexpensive to boot. One thing to note, they just have soft tacos….I’ll Be Back!…Update… Had the Duke today, great smoky flavor, Delish!
