They make some of the best classic types of cakes in town and excellent cheesecake. Have stuck with them for various birthday cakes over the years. Not a huge dessert person, but any time I’ve indulged I’ve never been displeased by Tasty Pastry. The chocolate mousse is lovely. I’ve had better versions of specific desserts other places, but they are consistently good here even if not always the absolute best (which is fine by me, I’m not a Yelper). For the variety offered they do a good job and the service leaves nothing to be desired. If you happen to snag a boxed lunch before they sell out those are orally pleasing as well. Edit: I had to add that the pecan coffee cake is DIVINE. Best I’ve ever had, no joke. Rich and savory, not overly sweet like so many others. I’m going to dream about it.

The cupcakes are huge but the flavor wasn’t impressive enough to make me want another. I thought the cannoli was pretty bad and same thing with the cookies. If I was going to recommend anything it would be the chocolate eclair.
