Because my obsession with Thai food never stop, we had to try out this spot, tucked in a strip mall. We judge Thai spots by their Tom Yum and theirs did not disappoint. Spicy and stuffed full of seafood, they def did not scrimp on the amount of scallops, mussels, shrimp and calamari in this delicious soup. The green curry was also a hit. I could get enough of the rich, spicy sauce and tender veggies. The service was so great. What sweet people!
So good i had to say it twice!. I don’t know what restaurant the people who didn’t like it ate at but it couldn’t have been this gem of a place. I’ve had this 2 more times since my last review and it was crazy good! Everything I’ve had! If your food wasn’t hot enough you should have gotten the spice tray. That will allow you to adjust the heat how you like it. And they have a spicy fish sauce that will give you that sour fish taste. Can’t remember the exact name of the soup but the coconut milk chicken soup is ridiculously good and addictive. There is the possibility that maybe i don’t know good authentic thai food, never been there abs had it. This place is amazing though and I’ll defend there deliciousness to the death:)24 Mar, 2015Lived up to hype!. Wanted some sort of Asian cuisine today and somewhere I’ve never tried. As usual i read tons of reviews to narrow my decision down. Thai place had plenty of good ones which made my choice pretty simple. It hit all the right notes with me, sweet, spicy and just plain delicious. I will be a repeat offender there for sure. Good job to all who work in the kitchen there!
Don’t bother. Tiny, cramped, mediocre service and food. Everything was really sweet and protein was skimpy. Rice was mushy, and curry unremarkable. Worst tom yum soup I have ever tasted. YUK.
Not sure yet….. I have been here twice. We have had their Satay Chicken, wings, pad thai and drunken noodles. The appetizers were delicious but we felt otherwise about their noodle dishes. We ordered our pad thai med-hot and there was absolutely no hint of spice. It lacked the fishy/sour flavor that pad thai usually has. The drunken noodles were alright but lacked flavor as well. I am still undecided about this restaurant and hope my next visit is more memorable.
Best Thai food in town. This place is great. Food is fresh and yummy. The folks who run the place are friendly. We’ve ordered vegetarian versions of the peanut curry, red curry, green curry, yellow curry, pad thai, tomka soup, drunken noodle, thai basil fried rice and spring roll. Love them all. 100% recommend it.
Good local restaurant. The family that owns this place is very friendly, and their prices are good. Try the coconut chicken soup, it’s so addicting! I also enjoyed their Pad See-Ew dish and Pad Thai, both are noodle dishes. This is a good Thai restaurant if you are in the NE side of Tallahassee.
My Favorite Thai Restaurant. This family-owned restaurant is my go-to restaurant whenever I have want a good meal or to take a friend or visitor out for a special meal. They always do an excellent job and have never disappointed me. I’ve never found better Thai food anywhere else. The service is always friendly and it’s very clear that they work very hard to provide their guests with a wonderful experience. Sometimes, I simply go in and just ask them to recommend something and I’m always delighted with what I’m served. There are several excellent dishes they serve which are not on the menu, but are well-known to the regulars. One that I’m a big fan of is the Chicken Satay with vegetables. You simply can’t do better for a good meal and dining experience in Tallahassee than the Thai Place. Good people, great service, incredible food!
