Our treat spot for special occasions. Pricy, but a unique dining experience. How can you pass up the opportunity to enjoy bread, cheese, and chocolate!

Melting Pot definitely lived up to our expectations. Fondue is a ton of fun, but also a safety hazard and the wait staff took extra care to make sure that we knew how to enjoy our meals without burning anyone.I liked being able to make a reservation and being seated right away. You definitely don’t want to come past 8 PM if you’re hungry because if you have 3 courses you’ll probably be there a while – my party of 4 took 2.5 hours for a cheese, entree, and chocolate fondue.Because the prices were so high, my party only purchased two servings of the cheese and chocolate fondue each which was more than enough for all 4 of us (and great on the wallet considering each serving was $8.50). We tried the Wisconsin trio for our cheese and though the cheese was delicious my palette must not be distinguished enough for the sherry base – overall it was much too bitter. Dippers includes some fresh veggies (cauliflower, broccoli, and grape tomatoes), as well as green apples, and sourdough bread. We all tried different entrees so we could do a kind of sampler – chicken dumplings, duck, chicken breast, and teriyaki steak all cooked in the chicken broth with veggies (free option!)Melting Pot also serves six delicious sauces to use along for dipping: teriyaki, orange curry, cocktail sauce, green goddess (which is some kind of sour cream base), yogurt base, and some kind of plum sauce. The chocolate fondue was probably my favorite part. We got the one that was dark chocolate and came with Oreos, marshmallow fluff and lit on fire for an added effect. The dippers for this are not unlimited like they are for the cheese, though. Those included: pound cake, graham cracker coated marshmallows, Oreo covered marshmallows, pineapple, strawberries, and bananas. The wait staff was very friendly and professional and didn’t make us feel pressured to get more servings for our table. The lighting is very dim and again you will probably be there forever. One tip is that any pot you get has to be decided on as a table i.e. The same type of cheese, chocolate, or cooking broth for entrees must be decided together because there’s only room for one pot per 4-person table.I would definitely recommend if you don’t mind spending the extra money – great experience and great food!

Impressive and Delicious!. My husband and I were out for our five year wedding anniversary when my husband had the idea to go to the Melting Pot for dessert. I have an allergy to dairy so he called and asked if their dark chocolate contained milk. The man who answered stated that it did but that he would go to the store and buy non-dairy chocolate so that we could come in. We arrived and were greeted by very friendly staff asking what the occasion was and we told them. We were seated and the chocolate was already in the pot melting. Boy was it delicious with the fruit and marshmallows. Our server was wonderful and very attentive, the manager came by frequently and was friendly, and we were even given a happy anniversary card signed by the entire staff! The owner came by to see how we were and we could not have been more impressed. He was the one on the phone and who went to the store to buy the chocolate. They go above and beyond for their patrons and we will definitely go back!! It made our anniversary that much more memorable!

Absolutely Amazing Experience. I only go about once every year but this past year was one of my best experiences yet. Me and my boyfriend arrived at our reserved time of 7:15 and were immediately seated by an extremely positive hostess. Our server then took the time to go into detail about everything on the menu. The food was absolutely divine as were the cocktails which on Tuesday are BOGO! We had the Big Night Out four course meal so we took a bit longer than the restaurant was open but our server never once hinted any displeasure. We were then seen by one of the managers (I believe his name was Ryan) and he expressed his deepest gratitude that we enjoyed our meal. I haven’t stopped talking about the experience since that wonderful night and will be returning very soon

Rudeness. The two of us arrived at 7:00 PM. Hostess was scanning a Groupon and then seated the couple…without acknowledging that anyone had come in the restaurant. By the time she came back two other couples had arrived. She asked if we had a reservation and we indicated we did not. She then asked if anyone else had a reservation. Both other couples did. She asked for their names and reservation times. Both reservations were for 7:30. She told us she had to seat them first and then would seat us. That she was sure there were tables available. Her attitude was one of being ‘bothered’ and would rather be somewhere else. The reservation couple left standing with us was actually the first one to arrive and to respond with their name and reservation time. Their body language became rather stiff when the hostess walked off with the other couple first. (Wonder if it had anything to do with a racial bias on the hostess’ part?!)We chose to leave and go somewhere we felt welcomed!!
