I love it….. Ok, so this is a totally biased review because my Dad owns the Snoball Shak. But as a native New Orleanian, I consider myself an expert on snoballs. I grew up riding my bike to the local stand in Norco, LA as a child; and after years of this ritual I developed a true passion for the snowy treats. Snoballs are part of my heritage and I was thrilled when my Dad decided to open up a stand of his own. The Snoball Shak is a way to share real New Orleans snoballs with Tallahassee; and as a bonus I get to relive my youth through daily trips to my local snoball stand. And as an expert on snoballs, I can say that my Dad is serving the real deal. The snow is finely shaved, smooth (not crunchy), and the flavors are bright and tasty. Please stop by and try one for yourself, I promise you will not be disappointed. In New Orleans, snoballs are a way of life; and the local stand often becomes a central part of the neighborhood. Located just off Kerry Forrest next to Brickyard and Ace, we hope to continue the snoball tradition in Northeast Tallahassee.
