We visit on a regular basis. Simple Tex-Mex with good flavored black beans and refried beans and fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. The norrito bowl, dos soft tacos, and burrito are good, solid options. It’s hard to describe my love for Tijuana Flats. It’s a pure, simple kind of love with as much or as little spice as I desire.
Fun atmosphere. I love that the food is fresh. Not sure how much I believe that but that’s ok. Had the Chicken and Bean Burrito, yum. I don’t do hot sauce but there looks like a lot of tasty ones here. They have a station where you can try them and if you like one you can purchase a bottle at the register.
Went for taco Tuesday. Tacos were good, queso was delicious. Seemed short staffed but those that were there were very friendly. Food came out promptly. Will definitely go again!
Great staff..subpar food. The service at this location is spectacular. Everyone makes sure you have been taken care of. The sauces are yummy and always fun to try a different one. The desserts are killer but the food, to me, is only alright. Ive tried their burritos, enchiladas, salads and flautas and none have really stood out to me. The meats don’t have that exceptional flavor that stands out and the portion is scarce. The rice they serve reminds me of the instant rice you get in microwavable pouches. I really want to like them because of their awesome staff and cool atmosphere but the food doesn’t quite do it for me.
Cold food. Don’t go here if you want hot or warm food. I ordered two tacos the shells were ice cold, tomatoes and onions on the taco were ice cold, onions were very watery and cold not fresh at all and the tomatoes tasted sour and the customer service was rough too. Hopefully the Pensacola location is better.
Different…. but good!. Compared to other burrito joints in town, TF’s has a different approach that makes them stand out. The food is always good and the service is above average in the dining room. The hot sauce bar is a nice touch. If you haven’t had this place, try it now!
