Had the Jefferson today and the chilly cheese fries. They were delicious! The fries were fresh and crispy and the hot dog was full of Mac and cheese. They do not skimp on their portions! Voodoo dog is definitely one of my favorite tally spots.
Good was great and the decor is very unique but customer service is very lacking.
Great dogs!. Several lunch-time visits and a great meal every time. Not fond of the fries (how hard is it to peel a potato?), but the dogs are great. Haven’t tried the burgers yet, feedback is that they’re not memorable, but I’ll have to see for myself.
Poor overall experience. Went to your establishment this past sunday at around 2pm to give it a try. 2 dogs,1fry and 2 drinks. dogs were ok, fries in the fry-boat amounted to abou 12 or less, we brought to the attention of the counter girl that all all sodas were flat, glasses shorts and orange sneakers. she said oh ok then walked to the kitchen, no one attempted to fix the situation. tables were very sticky and needed to be cleaned,you actually looked at your shirt to see if it got dirty. 15.00 later we left and i left the full sprite at the counter because no none cme to the front. don’t know if we would go back or recommend. rating a d-
Not Impressed. I have been to the Gaines St. location a few times and everything was great. At the Tennessee location, the service was unfriendly, the wait was long even though they weren’t busy and the food was sub-par. The chili on the chili dog tasted like it came from a bag. I’ve had gas station chili dogs better than that. The jefferson was pretty tasty. I would really like to see the quality of the hot dogs improve. For $4 a piece I think thats reasonable.
