Tiki-licious. This place is adorable! GREAT drink selection, beers are affordable, and the food is great too. They offer breakfast at night! How awesome?! Love it, I’ll be back for sure.
This is my favorite local bar hands down. Great food. Diverse crowd. Fun event nights and they will host your special event if they can. Where else can you have a science lecture one night and excellent jazz the next? It’s retro themes are quaint and the theater in the Spaceport plays cool pics you won’t even find on AMC.
Townie Dive Bar. I love this place- definitely caters to a Tallahassee-resident, over-21 crowd. The spacebar in the back is my favorite place to sit (usually less crowded than the Tiki bar) and I really enjoy the Science Salon events they do in the evenings during the week. They take their drinks seriously and I’m always up for going when I’m in town.
Good Drinks. Fun Place to go out and have a few drinks, bar food is just bar food. A couple of my buddies and I had a few drinks there and then went next door to Sir Cheezy for a kickass sandwich! Awesome night!
Very Good. For being bar food, Waterworks offers some great stuff. The Sunday brunch alone is worth coming out for. The service has never been anything but extremely friendly to me.Of course none of the food is mind-numbingly awesome, but it’s definitely the best thing available at 11:30pm (and, I promise, everything tastes even better after a mimosa or two).
Worst Customer Service in Tallahassee – Rude!. I had the worst customer service experience at Waterworks of any establishment in all of Tallahassee! The owner was rude to my friends and me for absolutely no reason. He accused my friend of littering (we were actually picking up trash in the parking lot and looking for a can) and yelled at us (yes, actually yelled!) regarding a variety of other issues. We were quiet, polite guests, and I can’t imagine why he thought he needed to approach us like troublemakers! I was excited about this being a potential hangout because the inside is smoke-free, but they treated us like crap and they won’t be getting our business ever again.
Get drunk in a dark tiki room that plays darkwave. I like the watery walls, I call them Walters because it’s a mix of water and wall. I’m so brilliant when I’m not drunk.
