Disappointment. Wow was I and my wife looking forward to going here, so we did! Food is good, service was bad. Seated quickly but and then the fun began, young new waiter was ok, but we had others just hovering around and would not leave us alone. Was looking forward to the family style that was here when my oldest came, but that’s changed for the worst. When it was time to leave I had only taken 5 bites of my entre so asked to have it to go, when we returned home half of my entre was not there??? so, we will not be back again!

The restaurant is very charming and service is great, but the food is average and my dish was extremely oily… I think the prices are way too high for the quality of food. Nice but not worth going back unfortunately

Kitschy decor but great food helps get past it.. Service was attentive and the quality of the food was very high (I’m from NYC and like many from there, I am particular about quality of Southern Italian food). As a party of two we did not eat family-style but the individual servings were humongous and could have easily been shared by two people. The decor is a little kitschy and reminded me of the NYC/Little Italy area of Universal Studios Orlando with the fake storefronts, but to their credit, the decor does make you forget that you are in a ubiquitous, uninspired shopping center in West Central Broward as you cannot see the outside windows from the dining areas of the restaurant rather the ‘faux’ decor. In sum, when we are in the mood for Southern Italian cuisine, eating here will be tops on our list.

Good Family Dining. The food was good, quality was good, not the best I have ever had, but after visiting Italy, American Italian is just different, much heavier. This is, in my opinion, much better than Acquolina in Weston which also offers and probably started the family style Italian trend in Broward County. I hope they will stay that way, as Aqcuolina was also much better in the past and much kinder. The portions were insane. Very much like Acquolina- they give 2 portion options, single and family, but their single is like Acquolina’s family and the staff is much more friendly and professional and they seem very happy that you are there, all be it more a bit more casual. The single portion easily serves 2 and is priced very well for the portion size and quality of food. The down sides:It is so loud! There were lot’s of kids, not prepared for that, I love kids and have them, but went on a date night as a couple. This is not romantic dining, it is loud and crazy, especially on the weekend and in all fairness it is the Holiday Season, so I am sure that takes the crazy volume up a notch. It would be nice if they had different sections since the noise factor is out of control. The Waiter said it is much quieter during the week. The wine is also very expensive, no bottles priced between $25 and $35 at all and that is unfortunate since wine and Italian food are a staple and the atmosphere is more upper-casual theme park than upscale, fine dining, so you would expect to find that price point for a couple of selections of wine in each catagory. Their selection however is very good. Will go back… with the family, maybe more than one family in pants that expand.

A Little Italy in Sunrise. After much deliberation on where to spend our third anniversary, I made reservations at Italian Red Sauce. What a home run! From the minute we walked into the restaurant, we were in awe and were warmly greeted by Ashley, who made it known to the staff that we were celebrating a special event. We were seated in front and were able to watch the pasta being hand made. Our waiter, Vinnie, made our night memorable, as well. From the friendly service, the recommendations, the wine, to the special celebratory cake at the end, Vinnie was professional and spot on. Thanks Vinnie. The food was prepared flawlessly. The atmosphere was romantic. This is clearly the place to be. Lots of luck Al. Keep up the good work.

Great food and service. This was our first visit to IRS. The food, the service (Leslie) and the ambience made our dinner a wonderful experience. The owner came to introduce himself and make sure we enjoyed our evening. Our waitress was terrific. We ran into people we knew who also felt the same. The bread was fresh, warm and wonderful. Could have made a meal out of it. The Lamb shank was great-be sure to get it family style. I had the Braised ribs which were also delicious. . Even the water was served ice cold and was refreshing. The tables were set and had white table cloths. Everything was immaculate. This restaurant needs the community to support it. They make you feel at home. Your wallet is reasonablylightened. You get your money’s worth and a lot more.
