We LOVED the Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet!! The ambiance is trendy and conservative. The food was delicious with great variety and artfully displayed. We will definitely be back next year 🙂

We arrived on Sunday night 7 minutes late for an 8pm reservation. No worries- only 2 other tables were occupied, with 2 other parties being seated during our stay. That being said, 15 minutes passed with our being given empty water glasses while 5 wait staff stood around folding napkins. I had just taken out my cell phone and had decided to give the staff until 8:30 (we were late, after all) when our waiter deigned to give us his attention, which thereafter was all that we could wish in a waiter. We knew going in that this was an expensive restaurant, but when we read the restaurant’s website we decided to opt for the Prix Fixe special, available for a limited time only, which was an appetizer, 2 entrees and a dessert for $25 dollars. The special was NOT mentioned on the menu- we had to request it. We tried the Carpaccio- my friend loved it but I found hard to get over the fact that however beautifully it was plated it was still raw beef. My friend was underwhelmed by her paella dish, but I thought the roasted chicken on polenta with brussel sprouts was delicious; the chicken being probably the best I have ever enjoyed in a restaurant. I even ate the thigh- and I never eat the dark meat. The Cucumber Gimlet was very potent- but at $12 a glass it was easy to limit it to just one. I don’t eat seafood, and that is Aqua’s big draw, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. I would not have been upset to have paid the full price- but I am so glad to have been able to take advantage of the Prix Fixe.

Great serv. Me and my girlfriends love the Aqua! The Bar is one of the best on this side of town. I entertain alot of out of town business partners and the first place I take them before hitting the town is the Aqua. The food is great but my fave is the lounge. Nick the Bartender is the best. He is a nice well spoken well put together man who is sure to make you and your guest feel right at home. My Boss was so impessed with him he offered him a job lol. The new singer is great. good change. I have been a reg for years and will continue to bring my friends and business partners to see Nick and the rest of the great staff at the Aqua. Thanks

Everyone but the waiter was friendly. Asked him a question about the food and he never can back with an answer or said your welcome. Mussels were basic, Mac and cheese was tasty, beef carpaccio presentation was messy and a bit salty. As for the entrees the osso bucco was tender and delicious, pecan crusted Mahi was pain but the side micro salad was delicious with golden beets. Nothing to stand out about dessert but was tasty.

LIKES: Oysters were fresh. Seafood chowder was amazing. Lamb was so tender I didn’t even need a knife…it just fell off the bone into the amazing sauce underneath it. The white chocolate cheesecake is to die for!!! Our server Adolfo was great and easy on the eyes..lol. DISLIKES: The cucumber martini I ordered at the bar was really horrible, switched to my old standby Santa margherita Pinot grigio out of fear of having to suck down another disgusting martini. Out of the 10 dessert port wines on the menu, only 2 were actually in stock. Frustrating. Creme brle came out uncooked, milky, and runny (really gross). Fortunately the manager came out to apologize and comped the desserts and port wine. Overall, the experience was good. Will go back again.
