The cuban sandwich & chickpea soup were OK, but paled in comparison w/ one of our Ybor favorites, Carmines. Service was OK for an eatery not jammed at the airport, but a little intermittent.

Great atmosphere, played it safe with just Grilled Chicken Salad for lunch and chicken very tasty. Like other reviewers say very busy so expect waiting.

Great spot for airport dining. Although the reviews at this location are terrible, my first experience here last Friday was pretty good. This is the third Columbia restaurant in which I have dined, both Ybor City and St. Augustine were excellent visits. The service here started out very slow as it was nearly 15 minutes before I was even acknowledge by the server and the restaurant was maybe 25% full. I was getting ready to leave and she appeared, from then on the service was good. My order was simple, 1/2 cuban and a cup of Spanish bean soup. Both were excellent. I did have a fountain soda and got hit with $3.29 for the soda – it is getting ridiculous what restaurants are charging for soft drinks these days. All in all, food was good and with a relaxing cafe ambience.

If Not An Airport Location. I would most likely not eat here all that often if at all. Service friendly but food is not up to par on my few trips in.Last time in, brown lettuce salad. Boo.Best things to get are the beer, Cafe Con Leche and bread. Not enough to sustain you outside the confined eat here or nowhere mentality on Airside E.

Delicious food. I went to Columbia cafe two weeks ago. Very nice cafe, the bar looks so beautiful same bar at Ybor. Food was awesome. My server was very attentive very knowledgable and he was on top of every detail. But one thing I realized is that managers or supervisors don’t really care about their employees. The manager on duty was Alec and he seem ok but it look like he does not care about their employees during my dining experience I heard terrible things about that management. I was very happy with my service but I feel bad for those employees who were complaining about their issues about hours and promotions. In conclusion my server was excellent but the gossip between other employees who were close to me, while i was dining make me feel that I won’t come back anymore. Very sad to hear those kind of problems and disappointed in that aspect. For what I known this restaurant has a very nice history and prestige and It doesn’t look professional. Next time that I flight, I will go to Carrabbas instead of Columbia.

No wonder. Restaurant setting wonderful, delicious food, service was ok but management lost!!!! How awful. Need to make improvements on that absolutely.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in an airport. I fly about 150 flights per year. Great service very reasonable prices.
