El Chuzo use to be great, I’m not sure if they switched owners but it has gone down hill from food to service. The last two times we visited they didn’t have hamburgers, even on the last visit they told me to hurry up to order because it was 9:40 pm and they had to clean the kitchen to close at 10:00 pm

Great colombian fast food 8). Salchipapas with garlic and pineapple sauce and ketchup with mayo and cheese…omggggg after the club and you get hungry… this place is the best for late night food.10x better than La perradaone draw back would be that this place can get busy and you could be waiting a while….they only have one person in the counter taking the orders…but aside from that they are usually and I say usually friendly…8)
The previous review is correct, I had the hawaiian burger and it was awesome- very typical colombian. The only thing the previous reviewer forgot to mention was similar to the many other places on armenia, you have to speak spanish. There’s a reason the food in places like this is so authentic, because they only staff hispanics. English only diners beware, brush up on your foreign language skills before visiting (or make nice with a translator) because this is one place you should try regardless of your nationality.
Great little Spanish, Late-Night BBQ Spot. El Chuzo BBQ offers authentic Spanish BBQ late at night. You just won’t find many places like this in Tampa, and with the low amount of late-night spots, El Chuzo can satisfy your late-night craving for some quality food. Although El Chuzo BBQ is far less known than the Taco Bus, the place is still wildly popular among locals. The place was packed at 3AM. Still, you get your food quickly and there are plenty of options on the menu for less than $10. I tried their steak burger and it was excellent. You should give it a try when you get a late-night craving. All the locals were enjoying an apple soda called Postobon. I didn’t try it, but from the popularity of it, I’m tempted to try it next time. carloseats.com
