Best Gingerbread men ever !. I have been going to the Housewife bake shop since 1959. I have tried many gingerbread cookies from many bake shops, but none as good as theirs. The guava pastry is great and the baklava is excellent. I don’t go to any other bake shop in Tampa.-MO
My husband was birn and raised in tampa and never stepped in this place. But were glad we did. I got a red velvet cheesecake which was really good and he got sweet pot pie. I also got german choc cake but i wasnt to happy with the frosting. The place was ok but they use bags and little paper holdersbfor everything and it is not ideal especially for cakes. But it is not bad.
