This place is Amazing!!! I go the there all the time to eat. The Vaca Frita is Awesome as for the Palomilla Steak too. Everything is cooked from scratch and fresh. Dont really understand why some of the negative feedback from others. Trust me you will enjoy a hreat meal there! Robert

Best Cuban food in New Tampa! Food is always fresh and delicious. My family and I have been going since they first opened and we have never been disappointed . Authentic cuban food & flavor. A gem of a restaurant!

Have eaten here many times over the years and sadly, each time it gets worse. Tonight the pork was bland and the serving size small. But most alarming…my 8 year old found a chunk of black plastic in the middle of his empanada!!! Goodbye forever Las Palmas.

Authentic Family Style Cuban Food. I relocated to Tampa from Miami and I have tried every restaurant in Tampa that claims to serve Cuban food. All of them were huge disappointments! Las Palmas is under new ownership – Chef Ramses is from Miami and he is an authentic Cuban from the island. His food reminds me of home cooked family meals that I get when I visit family back home in Miami. I am so glad he is in our neighborhood and is selling excellent, authentic Cuban food. My husband and I love it so much we visit once a week, so we can get our Cuban food fix. Yum!

Amazing authentic cuban cuisine. Very flavorful, great atmosphere, and not to pricey. You definitely get your moneys worth.

Great Miami Style Cuban Cuisine. I moved to Tampa from Miami and I have searched for a true Cuban restaurant. I tried La Cubanita Cafe, La Teresita, Arco-Iris, Latin Twist, and by far Las Palmas has been the best. The experience was just amazing for being a small restaurant. Under the new ownership of Chef Ramesses, he came out to greet us and to see how everything was. He even brought us a sample of his Lobster Bisque, which I truly recommend. Debbie thank you for being such a great waitress! We are now regulars and enjoy it every time. Try their Cowich, its not on the menu, but if you like bugers or beef and plantains you must have this sandwich!!! Most of the reviews may be based on the pervious ownership, but make it your own experience and judge it for yourself.

Gave tampa cuban sandwiches a bad name. Pork came out pink an uncooked and smelly, took us a minute to figure where the smell was coming from. This is after we took a couple bites and could only taste strong salty cheap ham. The owner came out and said it was fully cooked but even the waitress agreed it was undercooked. Open up your sandwich before you take a bite. We feel sorry for this being the best ‘north tampa cuban’ place. $6 for this with only a small amount of meat, one thinly cut pork slice, 3 thincut ham and 2 squares of cheese for the whole sandwhich. Never ever coming back, the quality itself will keep us from coming back but the raw pork took the cake.
