This place used to be awesome, now it’s crap… Really bad service and food. So sad because this place used to be the gem of new Tampa. Hopefully the owner catches a clue and turns it around.
Yummy Chinese!. I’ve never been a huge fan of Chinese food, but this is a place I actually have come to crave. We usually get the same thing when we go- an appetizer of cheese puffs or a soup (Thai Tom YUM!, wonton, and sweet and hot are all delicious options), then for entrees we change it up between General Tso’s chicken, Orange peel beef, BBQ pork, and pad thai. I will say that the gereral’s sauce and the orange peel sauce are kind of hard to tell apart, but they are both yummy. Service has always been prompt, and the food is great!
Liang’s Seafood Trio. Hold out your thumb…that’s how much lobster you get. Now I want you to hold out both hands together and pretend they’re full of food…that’s the amount of mushrooms you get. The proportion of mushrooms to the rest of the dish is so high it is a thousand wonders this ingredient is not mentioned in the menu. Not worth $18.00.
I’m really disgusted in some of the poor reviews(which there are very few). I’m dining at Liang’s right now and decided while waiting for my entree I’d check out the spoon reviews. Whoever has had a negative thing to say about this place is clearly just a pain in the ass customer who has no concept of how the hospitality industry works. This is a great little Asian restaurant with great food, and even greater service. Just had dumplings and general tsao’s chicken and it was delicious! 5 stars to Liang’s for knowing exactly what they are, and for giving an excellent hospitable experience!

Lick your plate good!. I stopped for lunch and decided just to order the Kung Fu Shrimp appetizer. It was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back. A family next to me ordered meals and when I saw what they got I was glad I just got an appetizer. The servings were huge. I could never have finished it. I could have gotten 4 meals out of one plate of food. You definitely get your money’s worth.Only suggestion I would make is that they offer a children’s and senior’s menu. Only problem was that the food did take a very long time to serve and my water glass was never refilled. They weren’t busy either.
