Amazing food. Petra is my wife’s favorite restaurant and we have never had an even mediocre meal here. The chicken shwarma is amazing and we have a hard time ordering anything else, even though everything we have tried has been delicious. The service is great and very personal as well.
Delicious middle eastern cuisine hidden amidst a strip mall. We got kufta kebab and gyro and both were great!
Finally!! Delicious, quick & not a chain restaurant!. Side order of hummus: served properly with olive oil, paprika & parsley & hot pita. Delicious.Falafel sandwich: it was grilled which I’ve never seen before. It was pretty good. Always a great veggie option. Very fresh.Beef Schwarma sandwich: best one I’ve had outside of New York City, hands down. You should try this right now.We’re going back asap.

We had the Veggie Platter and it was delicious! Plenty for 2 people. The server was very sweet and took her time explaining the menu!We definitely come back when we are in the area!
I ordered food from the new tampa.location last night……i get there and the hostess/waitress/cook/whatever was the one cooking.my food and what appeared to he a chef was sitting at a table playing with his phone….i didnt care much till i got home and tasted my food……my order of a chicken shwarma with fries was disgusting, my fries appeared to have been refried at least 3 times the were too hard and soaked with oil. The sandwich smelled like dirty chicken water, the chicken wasn’t fully cooked and smelled really bad……i will never ever eat there again…..and i dont recommend anyone to try it
EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT!!! I’m visiting Tampa and wanted to try new things. Went to Petra and experienced GREAT service an awesome food!!!! I will certainly make this a favorite for every Tampa visit. ****
