I travel frrom Detroit to Tampa, started coming here as soon as it opened…Pleasantly surprised at the variety, taste and service of this place. I absolutely LOVE the mac/cheese, served in a skillet. Place is open, very clean, and tastefully decorated. STAFF is excellent. I will make this one of my stops every visit to FLA..

Johnny Grits? You would think that they would excell at cooking this simple dish. Quick grits w/ no seasonings at all. Terribly prepared bacon, and institutional biscuits. Never again! Save your money.

How about an honest review? Well…let’s start with their advertised HOMEMADE biscuits and gravy….I don’t appreciate being lied to and especially paying $7 for CANNED gravy and STORE BOUGHT biscuits! I’ve purchased the same rundown breakfast a million times in every dive from here to Ruskin, FL for a $1.50! The service was slow and not considerate…I had to ask another waiter for a coffee refill. The grits were good…but so what? $32.00 for this? Really? I don’t think so…
