Worth the wait. Currently eating a stromboli that is out of this world delicious. Everyone looked like they were waiting a while for food, but the place smells amazing and the staff are friendly. Take some friends for good conversation and have a few drinks while waiting for wonderful food. Beer selection is limited (only bud light on tap), but there’s some decent stuff in bottles.

Several restaurants, like Digino’s, advertise that they serve New York style pizza. I have eaten many pizzas in NY, Digino’s comes no where close. The crust was soft and not at all crispy on bottom like a great NY pizza. One of the photos on Digino’s website shows a wood fired pizza oven. I didn’t see their oven because it is not visible from the front of the restaurant. I’m pretty certain the pizza I got was not baked in a wood fired oven. I will not return.

Legit!. This place is the real deal! Very good Italian food…some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The place is very unassuming…it’s a small space that shares a building with a gas station and it’s easy to overlook if you aren’t looking for it. But, it’s definitely worth stopping! Very friendly and fast service and they offer take-out and delivery.The eggplant rollatini is absolutely fabulous…it’s a HUGE serving of eggplant filled with creamy ricotta and tons of spinach (or you can get ham – haven’t tried that yet) with a giant side of spaghetti in marinara sauce, a side salad and garlic bread. My husband got the portobello mushroom ravioli in alfredo sauce and it was a perfect 10 as well. The calzones are off the chain and the garlic knots…there’s not even words to describe these. They are my new go-to food craving when I feel like indulging.This restaurant is a perfect 10…I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome place to eat in Lake County. You can’t go wrong here!
Superb Pizza. I wouldn’t particularly recommend eating here, unless your idea of a great time is to watch people pumping gas at the next-door quickie mart, but for take-out/delivery, this is one great pizza place. I despaired of ever again getting a really great pizza in Tavares when the Lucky Dog Saloon closed (the building collapsed!), but Digino’s makes a great pizza for a reasonable price. I’ve tried the regular pizzas and quite a few of the specialties, and have been happy with all of them. I think my favorites are the Primavera, the Greek and the sinful Extravaganza, which is really loaded. Can’t speak to the quality of the pasta as I haven’t had it, but the salads are also good (although I would be even more delighted if they were all made with romaine).
Like being in NY, only better. Great neighborhood gem. Feels like you are walking into a family owned restaurant in NY, only there isn’t the noice and traffic! Absolutely delicious home made recipes made with love. I have eaten plenty of Italian, and this is amongst the best.
