I think they had a rough start, but now my husband and I have been going almost weekly for the past few moths because their sushi is so good! I have traveled all over the country and try sushi wherever I go, and this place has some of my favorite. Lucky for me I live only 15 minutes away!
We’ve been here 3 times and the sushi had tasted different on each occasion. It’s truly hit or miss. Tonight we arrived at 8:20. With them closing at 9 we were the only table in the restaurant. With that being said we had very poor service. I had to get up and bring my girlfriends glass to the back to get her some more water. Our waitress was too busy complaining to the sushi chef about her roommate situation. The sushi is usually good. This place just lacked good service tonight. It was my last dinner before deploying overseas and it left me disappointed.
This is just an average sushi place. We started by ordering their signature draft beer. They were out. We then ordered sushi, New Symrna roll and two entrees. The sushi contained shrimp with the tail still on it. When you took the tail off, the roll fell apart. Just average flavor for a small roll for $10. We ordered the curry chicken which was just average and the chicken to e bowl. The rice bowl was almost all rice and just a few pieces of chicken and very little sauce. The little say sauce I did taste was tasty. We had a table of 10. They pushed together 3 small round tables which of course did not work well. We will probably not give this location another try.
