  We took a relative here for their birthday based on the good reviews we were excited to try it out. We all were very disappointed. We ordered the catfish and got 3 small pieces. Also ordered the clam chowder and had to remind the one and only waitress working 4 times before I finally recvd it. One of our guests ordered a side of hushpuppies and had to ask 3 times about them not to mention had to ask for drink refills. Horrible experience and will never be back nor recommend to anyone. The place was clean so that was good.

  Best seafood place in LAKE COUNTY!!!!. This place was amazing!! The service was great! The food was so delcious, fresh, and very fair priced! I hope this place makes it, because its the best seafood place I’ve ever been to in LAKE COUNTY!! Better yet, anywhere! Try it! Keep local business alive!

  Haddock. Fresh, and perfectly fried! Next time I want to try it broiled in lemon butter with their crumb topping, sounds just as delicious. I got their onion rings for 1.50, I was impressed how my food wasn’t the least bit greasy. I don’t know what their trick is, but it’s working and I will be back with Family.This establishment is laid back , clean and comfortable. The location is lousy, but once you find it, you really feel like you found a ma & pop gem. The commenter before me .. I just do not understand… my haddock was very obviously freshly sliced. My portions were great! Too much fish but not not much with the sides. So, I asked the server for extra, and she did so, free of charge! The server apologized then mentioned they give small side portions , so that food isn’t wasted and people are free to have extra.

  Best Seafood Value In Mount Dora. Don’t let the dark and gloomy old shopping center keep you from discovering this place. It is a bright clean spotless gem and serves great seafood. Crab soup, chowder, clam strips, shrimp, fish and chips. Catfish, haddock, sometimes even grouper, broiled in lemon butter or lightly breaded and fried in canola oil. Beer and wine are available.
