Excellent Chinese food- best in North Tampa. I have eaten a lot of Chinese Food, and this is by far some of the best. The General Tso’s Chicken is fantastic. Many places cook General Tso’s with a low spice content, not here! They actually do it correctly, with a good amount of kick! Excellent fried rice and egg roll as well.
Best Chinese Food I’ve had in the USF area!. A few months ago, I decided to try this place because of all the good reviews I read. They all hold up! I dine here (or get delivery) at least weekly. Their food is the freshest Asian food I’ve had in Tampa, and I have lived here for over three years now. Their prices are very good, too, especially considering the quality of their food (I believe their prices are listed online). Delivery is extremely fast. A few reviews about Asian Wok say that their customer service is not great. However, I have never had any complaints. They are always very friendly and attentive to anything we need. Their staff does not come back every two minutes to ask if we need anything, but I see this as a good thing. If anyone is unsure about what to order, I recommend their Mongolian Beef and Florida Orange Chicken!
DON’T ORDER THE BOURBON CHICKEN!!! The Bourbon chicken I received was dry as a bone, I got it via delivery and some of the pieces were so tough it was hard to get a fork through it. Eating it I could feel the fibers of the chicken meat. It’s as if it had been reheated multiple times, if not frozen and then reheated. Definitely not fresh!!
RIP OFF. Dishes costing 5.95 each and one order of cost 3.95, OK her it goes. $5.95 x 3 = 17.85 + 3.95 = 21.80 Oh Hillsborough County sales tax .07% = $23.33 and the menu states free delivery in 3 miles? They told me it would be over $28.00 what a rip off. Never paid attention…..you should….find some place else that does not rip you off.
Love them!. We order and have it delivered all the time. The food is always delicious and prepared just how we request. I have eaten at many Asian restaurants but Asian Wok far surpasses them all.
Such a disappointment. Stopped by to order seafood soup, which was already made and waiting to be ladled into a container. Fifteen minutes later, someone finally got around to doing just that, but when I got it home, the seafood consisted of krab and two shrimp. Worse than not getting much seafood was that the shrimp were not cleaned. Just. plain. disgusting.
DISGUSTING!!!. I just moved to Temple Terrace and was excited about the food possibilities in a big town (I am from a very small town). I saw some reviews for Asian wok and they delivered, so I tried it out. This was the WORST Chinese food I have EVER eaten! I ordered shrimp mi fun, which is soft noodles with vegetables, and won ton soup. The noodles were mushy and sticky, the shrimp shriveled and not de-veined, and the soup was water! The won tons were doughy and tasteless. I paid $20 for this to be delivered! What a complete waste of money I will never eat here again
