The qualityof the food was the highlight of my visit to this Thai restaurant. It was m first time visiting a Thai restaurant and the staff was not of much use when it came to giving suggestions. Our server even got one of the orders wrong. Make sure youspecify exactly what you will not eat if you are following a specialty diet- my friend who is a vegan had eggs in her fried rice. But the taste of the food is excellent. Tha ambiance and the vibe of the restaurant is also amazing. Its easy on the wallet and in my opinion makes for the perfect lunch spot.

This has been a favorite of mine for 15 years, the food has always been good; but recently they have taken it to a new level. I don’t know if they got a new chef, but the food is absolutely outstanding of late. I eat here at least once a week now. I highly recommend the Drunken Noodle and the Beef Noodle Soup both are amazing, but now that it’s cooled off a bit the soup is at the top of my list. On a side note, if you like really spicy food ask for it extra thai hot with fresh chilis and you won’t be disappointed.
No Parking. I was really hungry for some This food when in Tampa for business. So Google maps pointed me to Sawatdee Thai and I followed. But Google maps couldn’t even help me find a parking space within walking distance. It looks like the restaurant shares parking with the apartments above. And in my case, it looked like everyone was home.So sadly, I never got to eat here. If you want to eat here, consider walking or moving upstairs.Cheers!
Tried to use a restaurant.com gift certificate here and (despite no expiration date) they refused to honor it. food was okay, not great.

Absolutely in love with the drunken noodle! Quaint little place. Nice and clean. Highly recommended 🙂
