Strangely empty place considering it’s easy to reach location, tasty food, and good prices. This is the third time I’ve been this week since I’ve had a hankering for Mexican and it’s quite near my workplace. Definitely better than Vallartes, although perhaps not better than Taco Son.

Go anywhere but here. We ordered 2 dishes that should have had attests 6 oz of meat or more for the prices charged. But instead I received 8 tiny slivers of meat and a large portion of onions. My husband dug out exactly 9 slivers of meat from his dish and more than 18 oz of onions for $18.00. I would not recommend this place to anyone, even their guacamole was mostly onions, salsa the same. I went at lunch time and no one was even there to eat. I should have took that as an indicator as to what was to come! Please do not confuse this Resturant like we did that goes by the same name in Ybor! They are excellent at atmosphere and food. But this place in Temple Terrace should be a pass for anyone who wants a good authentic meal! Even Outback is cheaper, and you get meat, not fluff!!! Sorry we even tried this place!

Here’s why When my 10 month old son started crying while we eating the waitress kept him entertained so we could finish are dinners plus they treated us like we where at there house eating. I will go back here every time im in the mood for Mexican food.
Bland, bland, bland. I was excited when I saw this restaurant on my way to church. Please keep in mind that I although this is my experience, I concede that it is possible that the cook was having an off day. I decided to start with something simple, chips and salsa. The only thing I could taste was onion which was not surprising since were so many big hunks of onion that the one could not avoid onion unless you drank the salsa liquid. I would have assumed the lack of any other flavor was due to my allergies but my fellow diner also complained about the salsa. Determined to stick with my choice, I self-inflicted the pain of ordering a cheese enchilada and a taco combo with rice and beans. The enchilada red sauce was a little sweet but this was the only flavor to this meal. The beef in the taco tasted like it had been boiled which had apparently been done until any semblance of beef flavor had fled for its life. The rice was red but the regular white rice I cook at home has more flavor because I use chicken broth and butter. The beans would have had better flavor right out of a can. I could see the pieces of cilantro but couldn’t taste it. Even a little salt would have helped this meal. There are some people who do not like any type of seasoning in their food ~ this restaurant is for them. For the rest of us, don’t do it to yourself.
The best!. Absolutely my favorite restaurant in the Tampa area. great food, great service, and bargain prices.
I love this little place. The service is great and really want to make sure you’re taken care of. The food is best in temple terrace. Go at least once every two weeks.
