Romeo & Juliette’s Caffe is Awesome. Short and Sweet!The staff is great, the food is incredible, and the red sauce (sunday gravy) is the best. I have eaten at this Caffe 3 times and it only gets better.Enjoy!!
This restaurant has so many contradictions. Billed as fine dinning, ..paper on the table, neon open sign , a movie travel log projected on the wall ? We were interrupted with water so often it was annoying . Our forks were barely down and we were asked if we were finished . I was still eating and my husbands plate was cleared . Fine dinning and these prices need educated staff . We wanted coffee and dessert but we felt so rushed I wanted to leave . There was no one in the restaurant it wasn’t like they needed the table . The food was good , but not great and with these prices and portions . Just too expensive . We eat out a lot and never chains . I really wanted to fall in love
Disappointing Experience. And herein lies the problem. For an owner to respond to a patron in this manner is unacceptable. I am the paying customer and it would behoove the owner to carefully respond in a professional manner, always giving the customer the respect he deserves. This behavior will speak for itself in the long run. Thank you18 Apr, 2013Disappointing Experience. Although the food was good, not phenomenal, but good, the service was completely lacking. For a 7:30 reservation, my party was not seated until at least 8:00 and then we were told that our table was ready and we could seat ourselves. While waiting, we wanted to order wine (only 1 hi-top for 2 for waiting patrons) and were not asked for an order, but instead WE had to ask. We were not given a wine or appetizer menu but instead we were recommended their highest priced wine…$15/glass!!! and not told how much it was. When we were finally at our table, there was no waiter who brought us a menu, but someone brought us the appetizer that we’d ordered while waiting…4 pcs of bruchetta toasted bread w/goat cheese and a walnut…$9.00! REALLY? No one asked for order, instead we had to wave over someone to take our order and ask for water. I can go on and on but you get the point…ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. and a bill for $132 for 1 app, 2 pasta dishes and 4 glasses of wine!!! Not worth it.
Freshest Ingredients, Great Service. This is a small restaurant, but we were able to walk in and get seated right away. Timing must be everything because 20 minutes later the place got packed. Service was great and friendly and they even made some menu adjustments for our out of town guests. The Mussels were so plump and fresh, my husband was amazed. Their Sauce is soooo goood. It’s not acidic like most places we’ve been. Our red Wine was suggested by Juliette and it was perfect because it was enjoyed by all, and I’m a sweet white wine drinker normally. This place truly is a hidden Gem in our back yard. Just can’t believe we haven’t discovered it sooner. We will definitely be back!
Great Hidden Restaurant. I had dinner at R n J a few weeks ago. The garlic bread and side of spinach in olive oil is fantastic, fresh and garlicky. I had chicken piccata and a side of pasta. My sister had meatballs and fried zucchini. The meatballs were fresh and the zucchini fried lightly. Delicious! The dessert- cheesecake and cannoli to die for. R n J,it’s a special hidden restaurant. Homemade food, attentive service and quiet. Enjoy!
Fred and Tammy rock!. The best and freshest veal in jupiter, getting a table at night is tough during the season, but we will most def try this summer. We had a fred tasty beet app, out of this world. True Italian cuisine not new York fake stuff here. Classy and fast service from Tammy who is alway providing great service. A true hidden Jem, that is now at the top of our list for Italian. Napoli influences dishes, and wine pairings are spot on. We are now on their Facebook and receive daily lunch and dinner specials. Thanks for bringing true Italian food back, cooked by a true Italian chef. Go redskins!
