Nice for lunch. Had a nice lunch here. service was friendly and my food was good. I think it is a bit much to charge an extra $2 for anchovies on an $8 caesar salad but I let that slide since everything else was fine.
I’m a frequent diner here and have NEVER had a bad meal. Different menu every night, you won’t be disappointed !
?????. While the food is good the service and wait staff is seriously lacking. Last time we went for dinner, they had no one to cover the front door except the wait staff. At a Tequesta seasonal time, they should provide a hostess. The wait staff were busy cleaning tables, seating people and serving. This caused our dinner time to suffer. There also is one particular (waiter) that not only lacks appeal but is not friendly too boot! Not one server there ever seems happy, friendly or bears a smile on their face. I think it’s a great little place with decent food and we keep going back in hopes for a meal with a warm friendly Tequesta welcome but….we have decided to give it a rest.
Absolutely Fantastic on Every Level!. A true hidden gem, you can’t go wrong at The Corner Cafe for breakfast, lunch, OR dinner. My favorite breakfast item is the Marie Antoinette; a surprisingly delicious combination of a croissant dipped in creme brulee batter and then filled with bacon and grilled banana. Whaaattt?? Trust me. It’s divine with a capital D! I always get a side dish of corn beef hash. It reminds me of the hash my dad made when I was growing up and I love memories that involve food.Great perk – You can bring the family dog and eat outside. They love their furry customers and even have water bowls ready for Rover or Fido. For lunch today, my husband had one of the many clever lunch specials; a Blackened Mahi Reuben with homemade potato chips. I stole a bite. Also D-lish. I’ve probably had just about everything on the dinner menu. Their wine selection and local brews are fantastic. Seriously, I’m a die-hard fan of this place (can you tell?) If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out! What are you waiting for? Try it. You’ll be so glad you did!
Great. Amazing staff, right on the ball. Specials were all amazing. Had German sausage and potato pancakes, with sauerkraut and applesauce. Made to pair with the Der Chancellor Kolsh. Relaxed, casual atmosphere, good beer, great food. I’d be here all the time if I lived in the area.
Hidden gem!. This hidden gem is well worth seeking! I’d been here two years ago for lunch and again for breakfast, and was impressed both times. I came back to the area and decided to try dinner. So glad I did! I had the Low Country Platter, which contained clams, shrimp and andouille sausage with cheese grits, topped with bacon in a Cajun cream sauce. (The dish is originally served with collard greens, but I had them leave those off, as collards are icky. I got a side salad instead, with the restaurant’s fantastic house made ranch dressing. Yum!) This meal was so good, I might have dreams about it. It came with house rolls, one with cheese on top, one with various lovely seeds and a roasted garlic with olive oil dip/spread. My server was an older gentleman, who not only was attentive without hovering, but reminded me that the shuttle launch was happening so I could walk outside and watch! A delightful spot!
Wish I lived closer!. This place ROCKS for breakfast. Super-creative menu and a staff that really hustles. Be sure to check out the specials. We haven’t had anything here that wasn’t fabulous. Really! While they do sell beer at the Cafe, a detached Brewery is due to open nextdoor sometime soon. Outdoor tables are nice if the weather’s right.
