Where Italian goes to die…Being brought up around true Italian sicilian cooking, fresh sauce, hand rolled pasta…when you go out…go out somewhere someone cooks better than you.Tried it, yuck.Average…which to most is sublime. But if you like good food, cook good food…put this at the bottom of must go to places.
My husband and I dined at Redsauce this week. Husband had the mussels in tomato sauce and said they were excellent. I tasted the sauce only and loved it…I want that recipe. I had their special, veal meatloaf with wild mushroom gravy. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. Even my husband, a non-meatloaf lover, tasted it and found it to be great.
I’m actually very impressed. After reading the mixed reviews here I wasn’t expecting much. However I thoroughly enjoyed not only the meal but the service was great too. We had a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids. Very kid friendly! My filet was perfectly cooked, as was my risotto. Everyone cleaned their plates. TJ was our server and he was attentive and very friendly. We will definitely do Redsauce again!
