No more all you can eat special on the menu, what??? That’s a shame, I hope they will bring it back in the future even at a higher price it would be worth it!
We had the pleasure of lunch at Dixie Crossroads las summer after fishing the famous Mosquito Lagoon. The rock shrimp are unbelievable, and I had never even heard of them before. This was a step back in time to when small businesses brought great offerings and service. Now, how do I get from Texas all the way back to Florida so I can eat there again…
This place use to be a great place for our company yearly get together and birthday parties, we would always bring guests here of at least 10-20 people. They had all you can eat snow crab, shrimp, fish, and other things for approximately $50.00 everyone in our party would order the all you can eat, which means we would drop at least $500.00-$1,000.00 in one setting plus tax and tip. For some odd reason the owner took it off the menu and said the reason was that they were losing money on the deal, I find that very hard to believe since the average person can only eat 3lbs. Of food max in one setting. Just raise the price but to take it off the menu is unexplainable, after waiting a hour to be seated today our party of 15 was told that they no longer offer the all you can eat. They have now lost our business until the owner gets smart enough to bring back what everyone I know used to come for. I hate when a great restaurant tries to get greedy and changes what was working for years, price changing doesn’t bother me but menu changes do to greed does bother me.
Quaint Fish House known for its rock shrimp. The conch fritters were tasty. We really enjoyed our meal here. We will definitely come back.
Old School Florida fish house. We decided to try it out after a day at the beach. We really liked this place a lot. Friendly service, great sweet tea, fantastic menu selection and of course great food. The corn fritters they bring you before your meal are legendary. I had the rock shrimp and my wife got the regular shrimp. Both were well prepared and tasted great. This place was packed out when we got there but the wait moved fast. I’m guessing this is probably one of if not the most popular spots in Titusville. Can’t wait to go back it was great!
Excellent dinner. Royal red shrimp were delicious broiled with drawn butter. Rock shrimp were also delicious. Our waitress saw that we received the complimentary corn fritters immediately. Clam chowder can only be described as good, not a medal winner.
Really a nice seafood restaurant and very old Florida. Nice wide selection and well prepared. Feels like a upscale theme beach place, just not on the beach. Feels like it should be in Vero Beach on A1A. Lots of locals which means it’s good. chilltravelers.com
