Dive punctuated by rocket launches and pretty damned good food. Got invited here to watch a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch and can’t stay away. Very generous pour drinks and everything we have had their is good. Usually sit at the outside bar and have multiple appetizers and a couple of drinks. Seriously busy at rocket launches with a great view across the bay. Have had the burger here and they are very good. Rough around the edge. Staff is surely in a fun way. Maybe that is why it is called NY NY . Probably could never get above a 3.5, but it is a unique gem in the area. chilltravelers.com
Second time there yesterday. The food both times has been great. The service is a major problem. We sat out side and the service was very slow. The food did not come out at the same time. There was 10 of us so she said there was a small grill. When we were leaving I ended up paying inside cause the waitress was so busy. The inside was empty with staff standing around. A good manager would have had the staff helping outside.
